Scholarship

This scholarship seeks to reward bright, talented students who have big ideas and know how to communicate them succinctly and effectively, who do not have a background in engineering subjects. By engineering we mean Physics, Maths and/or Engineering at Level 3 (A Level, BTEC, T Level…)

If you have a student loan, scholarships can either go towards the cost of your tuition fees or maintenance costs. They are awarded following an application process.

Eligibility

You’ll need to:

– Have a Home fee status

– Holding an offer for:

  • Global Design Engineering
  • Engineering with Artificial Intelligence
  • Engineering with Mechatronics Systems
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering

– Not studied Physics and/or Maths and/or Engineering at Level 3 (A Level, BTEC, T Level…).

– In receipt of a student loan or self-funding your studies.

How to apply

Create and submit a video pitch that centres around a ‘big idea’ in engineering, why it inspires you, and how it makes a significant impact to industry/society. Read our video submission guidelines for this scholarship.

You’ll then need to send your submission via the scholarship application form which is included in your offer letter from Admissions.  If you need to request a form please email admissions@asu-london.ac.uk

How much could I be awarded?

Up to £3,000 per year of study

Deadlines to apply

First deadline: Friday, 8 May 2026. Our first consideration deadline for applications is Friday 8 May. Applications received by this date will be reviewed and awarded.

Second deadline: Tuesday, 30 June 2026.Scholarships that remain after this first consideration deadline will be available to apply for until Tuesday 30 June.

Clearing applicants: Where we still have scholarships available, you’ll be invited to apply via Admissions.

Things to note

Students may only be in receipt of one ASU-London scholarship at any time during their studies.
